slacker!

Wow.... Talk about SLACKER!  I'm so bad.. I'm sorry, not that any one ever visits my blog in the first place... But for those of you who do, I'm sorry, I have been shameful at keeping this up and going!

Right now my Grandma Larson is here, she will be here for another few days, till Tuesday I believe!  Which is so awesome!  I never see any of my extended family, so we love to have her here!  She is an awesome Grandmother, and just loves all of us Unconditionally!  We are having a good time with her!  I'm so glad she is here!

I'm going to seminary this year.....  I wake up at five a.m. so that gives me half an hour to get ready, and a half an hour to get there... It  takes that long to get to church... (yes I know all you Utahins are sitting there saying.. "we told you just come to Utah, it is loads better!" haha!) We go to a new ward.. and stake now.... I miss all my friends at church, and I miss my old ward, because I was so close to every one there, all the youth, and the adults were really pretty close, the youth in my ward just were really open to new things and new people, accepted differences and got along really well, and it is so cool!  But here it is a little different in this new ward, the youth are very cliquish, all nice people, and I know some of them, and I have some REALLY good friends there, but it is so different! lol!  Like all the girls like to talk about is who made out with who, and why they wont talk to so-and-so.... haha!  I just have to accept the differences here, but the contrast is so funny! haha! BUt I can learn to love them just as much, I already feel a love for them, even though sometimes they may not know how to be the most friendly, they still are awesome people I can see, and all are trying their hardest to do the best ,and be the best they can, who can ask more?  I consider it a blessing, it is helping me grow, and learn to be more independently confident. lol!  But it is a good thing for me and my family, so I am very grateful fro this opportunity.

I've been running alot, and doing palates ( I think you spell it like that! haha!)  which is really fun!  I have been trying to get my flexibility back.... I'll add some pix of that l8r.. But I just really feel better about myself, life, and every thing in general when i do this.  it is very refreshing, and in-between school, work, and this I feel like I have done something through out the day that is worth while. :)  but I tell you it sure takes tole on you! haha.  since I'm just getting back into it from three months of not hardly doing anything very much.... my old bones are rattling!  haha.

:)

I have started art again.. I love it, I just finished a pastel portrait I despise...but I'll add a picture any ways...... when I get it on the computer...... and I'm trying to decide what to do next.. btu my art teacher is so awesoem I love her SOOO much!  I thin kI'll add a post all abotu art class soemtime, and put all/most of my art up (all of it would take too much time to uplaod! haha!)

I lvoe the weather out her, fall is JUST BARELY starting!  I LOVE IT!  ;)

I miss my floweres at work thoguh cause they are all dying, I'm going to try to get another job this winter though..... we'll see how that goes..

I'm also going to go to Either Russia or Ukraine this winter semester, I've been saving all summer for this, and I'll go there to teach English.. it is with this ILP program (International LAnguage Program)  I have to get off now, cause I don't have much time on the internet any more, since I made the goal of only 1 & 1/2 hours per week now! lol!  but you can look it up on their website :  www.ILP.org  it is so cool!  I'll tell you abotu it l8r!

I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living, my baby you'll be.

"There once was a puppy named Huckleberry,
Who decided he liked to eat muckleberries.
When he ran out of muck,
And the berries got stuck,
He decided to call himself:
'Bad-Luckle-Berry!'  "

~Luc Foxley 2008

I have decided to devote this post to my most beloved dog, Huckleberry.  :)  I have had Huckleberry since late February.  The Seely's dog had a batch of Puppies, and after going there every
week to get milk, and seeing the adorable rolly polly things, I fell inlove, and knew I must have one.  <3

There were two Puppies left when I went to pick him out.  I played around with both of them for a while, but it didn't take me long to decide which one I wanted.  I had already picked out a few names for him, and gave them all a little try.  I had wanted to give him a flower name, since his mother's name is Daisy.  But none of them seamed quite manly enough!  lol!  So here is my final list of names:

Dandelion
Ragwort
Elderberry
Hezelnut
Tottergrass
Periwinkle
Canturbury
Willow
Mullberry
Thistledown
Chicory
Phlox
And of course: Huckleberry!

For the first few months Huckleberry was quite a novelty, He still is the celebrity of the house, every one loves him, and thinks he is so adorable, but those first few months  he was so popular!  lol!     Who could resist?  I know I couldn't!  Heck, I still can't! lol!  He just gives me those puppy eyes, and I give in! haha.  I call him my "flow
er" and "baby doll"  :)  And he loves me so much!

Every one says that when I leave for work, he just is all mellow, and mopes around, until I get back, then he is full of energy, and licks me (we call it "give me kisses"... he does it every time I say it! lol!)  We then go out side and play around for a while.  :)  I have been having a lot of fun trying to train him!  he is pretty good too!  He can sit, stay, and come....... usually.  :)  lol! Something funny about Huckleberry, is even as a little puppy, he always goes for the biggest stick in the yard! haha!  It is funny to see Lars (our most faithful family dog <3)>

Huck love's the water!  He will put his whole face in the water dish, and gurgle the water!  really, he blows air into it, and it makes it all bubbly! haha!  We had one of those little plastic pools outside, and we filled it up, and he just plays in it like crazy!  We all get really wet, he lets you spray him with the hose, and loves taking bathes!  He is so enjoyable!  :)  Lately if you don't keep the tub closed off, he will jump in and look at you ex
pectantly!  haha!  :)

Huckleberry is a Labrador, meaning he is a dog that chews,  during his babyhood, he would chew on every thing, every thing had to be out of his eye level, or it was in his mouth! haha! he got my shoes, and a few of my sister's belongings!  Luc goes crazy when he sees Huckleberry with Bunny, luc's precious friend and stuffed animal. lol!  But we have trained him out of that, and all he does now is eat trash on the floor! haha.  I keep telling him "you are what you eat, so be careful what you eat darling!"  haha.

Look!  even mom and dad love him! we really aren't supposed to have animals in our house, but my and dad haven't minded to much!  He is just so cute!  He sleeps with me, and wakes me up five times a night to go outside!  But he is so cute it doesn't matter that much.  I'm a softie and let him boss me around.  lol!

ALL in All I just love Huckleberry so much!  Me and him are best friends!  Huck follows me around all the time, and I love all that devotion, and he is my baby, and I'll love him forever!  I Am so thankful for him!!!!
I LOVE YOU HUCKLEBERRY!!!!!!!!

Long time no see!  eh?  lol!

Ok lots and lots has happened in the past... while....  But here are a few of the things I want to share with you!

I MIGHT BE MOVING!!!!!  And guess where to?  UTAH!  Utah of all places.  *sigh*  when my parents asked about what our feelings of
moving were, I told them I was so happy here I would only consider moving if it was overseas.  Well moving overseas isn't an option, so they said where in the USA?  I told them ANYWHERE but Utah..... lol!  isn't it lovely how things work out? jk! lol!  Now, IF I do move to Utah, I wont do the whole rebellious teen thing, and be mr. grumpy pants for the rest of my life, instead I'll suck it up and deal with it.  I'll make new friends and stay in touch with all of you guys.. who are just super awesome, and even though living in a desert isn't super exciting to me... you know i guess it  can be kinda pretty.... lol!
Virginia is just so great though.  It is my home, and I'm a part of it, and it's a part of me.  :)  So I'm thankful for all the time i got to spend here.. .and who knows we may not move... so i could still live here forever... and that would be SOOOOO awesome!

So today when I went to work i took my camera... JUST INCASE we DO move this fall, I wanted some pictures of where I work, cause it is so lovely, and I love working there.  I'm gonna bring my camera to work tomorrow too, so I can get pix of my fellow employees and friends.  :)

From my legs down, I am covered in poison ivy.... ick. not cool, they itch like crazy, but i'll live.  lol!  We went on a pioneer trek this last week, it was pretty fun, we had to trudge though tons of poison ivy and on one of the days i was in a skirt.  lol!

We pulled hand carts for like three miles, it really wasn't anything that big.  But still with the other 150 youth there from our stake, they had a rough time... most of them are from the city, but they all could do it, and had fun!
we had to cross a couple of little streams, about knee deep and 16 feet wide. we camped and then the next day we pulled the hand carts again.
At first when I heard we were going to do this, and where we were going to do it, and what we were going to do, I though "Oh brother, that will be so whimmpy, and all the city kids will be crying, and their going to try to turn it into this super spiritual experience for us, and why should I even bother?"  But I went, and my mom and dad were my wards "Ma And Pa", and I had a wonderful time, it was still not a super hard deal, we had 15 people pulling a hand cart, so we all switched off, and it was not very tiring at all.  And I actually learned alot.  and my respect for the pioneers really got bigger.  what they did was awesome, and must have taken al they had.  it was a really cool experiance and I'm glad I went!  I had an awesome time!

MONKEYS SEEING MONKEYS....

`

Guess what? I went to the zoo!  YaY!  I think it was June 20th.  Our friends from Jersey came down to visit us.  Matt, Andrew, and Katie.  They are awesome friends, and we don't get to see them very often usually only once a year at the home school conference, so it was really nice to see them again.  :)

When they got here we hung out around the house, went for a walk, visited the horses, and all that good stuff.  Then we all went back inside, and listened to Andrew play piano... who was amazing!  You would not believe how great it was if I told you, you'd have to hear it for yourself.  He really got me to actually thinking I might want to start learning more about music!  And that is a big jump for me! lol!  Then Matt did some stuff on the piano for us too, which was equally as awesome!  It was all jazzy and blues and stuff.  It was so cool, Then Zach brought out his electric guitar and him and Matt just improvised and played, it was really cool, like you could feel the floor vibrating, and you were just part of the rhythm.  Musicians are so cool! haha, really they are, I really respect them for what they do.  You have to work hard to be good at anything, and music doesn't come naturally to me, like I can carry a tune in a bucket, but not enough to sing to a big group!  haha.  But it was really cool, and I was going to add little short clip I took of them playing... only this stupid blogger thing wont let me!!!!!  So you will have to live with out.. I'm sorry.  :(

We found out that Matt had never been to the zoo, :O *gasp* .  So we decided that is what we must do, because we could not believe that some one of his age had never seen all the wonderful animals that are there.  We had a great ride up, Katie had never played any of those MARSH (or MASH) or matchmaking games before, so me and Clarissa showed them to her, and of course we also did them to ourselves and Zach and Andrew, which was amusing! lol!  Those games are SOOO retarded, but kinda fun every once in a while, especially for a good laugh.  :)

Me, Zach, Andrew, Clarissa and Katie all drove up in the van, and Matt and Joce drove up in Matt's car.....  Now since Joce is never going to read this blog I feel fine in stating that Me and Andrew have been putting our heads together ever since the conference, to see if we could get Matt and Joce together!  They are perfect for each-other, in-fact MAtt is so good Joce doesn't even deserve him, as much as I love my sister, I must admit that.  Any ways, so at the conference we got them on a date even, and so 60% of the reason we actually had them over here to visit us was to get Matt and Joce to hang out again.  Any was... so we made sure they were in the same car... and then at the zoo.. well we had a great time.  :)

We went to the elephant house, I love elephants, but we go there first cause they are Jo's (Jocelyn) Favorite!  Yeah MAtt and Joce were totally hitting it off.  Me and Andrew were so happy, we hardly had to plan anything!  They would walk away from the rest of us, bonk shoulders and steal each other's phones, and just flirt, which was really great.  *sigh*  Me and Andrew were so proud of ourselves..... we went ballistic over one certain picture we took..... If Jo saw it she would kill me!  haha!  Check it out!  YOO HOO!!!!!! owe owe baby!

Any ways... mushy stuff aside......  The zoo was great, we saw all the animals, except for the big cats, cause just as we went they took them inside, cause the zoo was closing, but oh well.  We hung out around the ground hogs for a while, and took some silly pics! lol!  Yeah Here is Zach fishing for ground hogs.... the new and improved way! lol!  :)

Andrew was taking pictures all day long of us all,
which was fun.    :)  And then we all went to a little bread and chocolate restaurant, which was good.  Andrew's first time having moldy cheese, and he LIKED IT!  yay.  Yeah, then we went to the temple, just to walk around, then we said good bye!  :(   But the day was so fun we planned another to be on the 18-19..... And I admit me and Andrew did have a little something to do with that! haha!  lol!  I'm so going to get in trouble some day, either that or Jo will bless me, who knows!  lol!  But I had a great time!

FYI

ok so I was going to add LOTS of pictures, but it was taking FOREVER to load, So I just ditched the rest of them, if you guys want more, just email me and I'll send them to you!

THE BEACH!

Ok, so I should have done this forever ago, I just didn't find any time to do it.  So you're getting old updates, but I had such a great time last May that I had to put it up here incase any of you wanted to read it!  :)  lol!

Ok, so a few of you, well most of you guys know about the conference my mom does every year LDSEHE  ("Latter Day Saints Eastern Home Educators"........ Basically "Mormon
homeshooler conference"  lol!)  So that was from like May 27-30 or something, I can't remember, but it was lots of fun.  :)

There were lots of coolio classes that really enjoyed, they are always good, and there were lots of good ones this year too!  My favorite speaker was Chad Hymas, who just really inspired me to be a better person, and to love others more, and just live life better.

My brother Zachary was also on a panel for the youth, just talking about home schooling and
stuff, also he also gave an excellent presentation in his class, it was about finding your mission in life, and working your hardest to get there, and doing every thing you can to make it happen, and that there are lots of missions for you to do in life, and what God expects of you, and what you need to expect out of yourself.  It was very good.  <3

This year the conference was held at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach, it was a really nice place, right on the beach, and a really nice hotel.  Me and my friends, and siblings went to the pool or beach every day!  The pools were always freezing though!  As was the ocean,
but that was ok, we just all went in any ways, and when we couldn't take it any longer (after like an hour)  we would get out!  But it was lots of fun!  One night a whole group of kids went to the indoor pool and we froze to death, and Andrew an Matt kept pushing us in, though THEY never got in..... lol!  and then one of us figured out they had hot showers, there were only two of them, lol!  So guys and girls, we all jumped in and put it so the water was steaming! lol!  It was great!  Of course we made a lot of jokes about being in the shower together! lol!  But it was so much fun.  And at the beach I got a burn on top of an already existing burn, it was so bad I had blisters on both my ears, and my neck!  arg!  ouch!  But it was very much worth it!

I got to see all of my friends from the East Coast, the ones I hardly ever see..... cause we all live some where around three or more hours away..... so in all our busy schedules, we just never seam to to get together for some reason!  I have lots of friends there, and I already miss them terribly!

There were lots of fun things going on too, we stayed up kinda late every night, I had to go to bed at midnight, but even then I still had fun!  We all wanted to stay up as late as possible, so we could spend as much time as we could with each other, so it was fun!  One night there was a family dance, I had a great time with that, every one was out there dancing and having a good time!  We had to stop it at ten though because of the hotel, but it was super duper any ways!  Here I am dancing with one of my good friends Brother  (Brooks, Kristine's little brother)
Ok now here I am with lots of my friends!  enjoy!  I love all of you guys lots!  and I miss ya'll!
