DUDE!!!!!! I'm in CALIFORNIA!!! freakin' awesome! I am so happy to be here with my awesome cousins! They are super! I love being here, I'll have to get lots of pictures, and post 'em when i get back home! i am enjoying every minute of it! :)

YOOHOOHOO!

Hey guess what I just realized!  haha!  My birthday is in eleven days!!!!!!!  yay!  I'll be seventeen!  sweet!  I still can't drive though.  So we'll have to work on that one! haha!

I hope ya'll had a very happy hallow's eve!  I had an awesome time!  I forgot the camera though.....so you'll have to check out my pix that my friends will tag me in on facebook! haha!  So I don't have any pix yet.. I'll try to post them when I get some.  :)

Me and Kicka went to My good friends party (Bonnie)  That was alot of fun!  It was a super hero party!  lol!  Kicka was CatWoman, and I was elistigirl!  haha!  It was so much fun to see all my old friends from Culpeper again.  It was so much fun!  And I got to meet Bonnie's friends from school.  Which was way cool!  I need to see you culpeper people more!!!!  I almost forgot how much I perfectly fit in with them'all.  haha.  They are good kids aren't you?  <3

But yeah, mom and dad, did the hand at our new ward's trunk or treat.  You know how we do the whole treasure box where dad sticks his hand out and gives kids candy!  yeah.....  haha.  So they did that with the kids.  Sheridan was Alice in Wonderland, and Luc was a pirate! haha!  They said they all had fun!  It is funny how little kids get so excited about this stuff.  it kinda reminded me to be more that way, to let life excite me! haha.  I love my life, and my family!

Some bits of my art. :)

Ok,  so I decided that I should post 

some of my art work, most of this.. actually all of it is stuff that has been done either in my sketch book, or has been done in previous years... so I'm only showing you some of it for now.  Especially since I 

don't have most of it on the computer.  :)

The First Picture is a picture I did for my father 

in oil pastels, it is of me and him.... back

 when I was about four.  :)  I did that last year.  It was 

fun drawing it,

 but I had trouble with the lace, and my hair is so thin I had to draw my whole scalp and then add the hair! haha!  So first I was just completely bald! haha!  

The next one is kinda special to me because it is my first oil painting.  I did it two years ago.... i think.  Oil paints are my very favorite medium to work in.  They run sm

oothly, and you can do so much with it!  Though they do take me longest, because I stress over making them just right... But I haven't been 

satisfied with a painting since that one! haha!

tered it in an art show as you can see, but the art show ended up being kinda weird, and as you can see my type of art wasn't what they were looking for!  But I entered it in another art show this winter.. i think like january-ish.... and it won first prize!  yay!  

This picture is the first real face I ever drew..... I had done a practice picture, but this was my first real face.. I did this about four years ago... It is a picture of my Gandma Larson when she was a little girl.  :)  I gave her the original copy!  I look back at this now and kinda laugh at my inexperience! lol!  But I still like it!  :)

This is a picture I drew last year, it is of my celebrity crush his name is (ok here we go, let's see if you know who he is!!.. I doubt it! haha!)  Jean Baptiste  Mounier.

He is a singer/actor... he is a soprano.... don't laugh!  his voice is so BEAUTIFUL!

And these are a few of the sketches I do of Beatrix Potter... HAve you seen her art?  She did peter rabbit, and jamima puddleduck......all of those good stories... I grew up with those stories and love them!  These two are of Mrs. Tiggywinkle, and the one just next to it is the little lady mouse from the tailor of gloucester.  

But that is all there is today!  I'll  try to post more later!

I am so thankful for this awesome Autumn weather!  I love all the coulors, and wrapping scarfs around your neck, and jackets, and mittens... I love it!  The shock of the cold, and then the warm comfort of your house or car! lol!   It is great!  The only thing that would make it greater is if dad finished his yurt he is making.... so I could sleep out there! haha!  Wouldn't that be so fun! Sleeping in a tent/house?????!!!!???? I want to move in it when it is done, just for a month or two!  :)  Have a little heater out there, me and my puppy... talk about AWESOME! (that is just the skeleton fyi)

Any ways..... weird quirks aside.....  I lOVE FALL!  Not all the leaves have turned yet.. but they are starting to!  I wish I had my camera right now.. but it is with my mom, or I would take pix and post them too!  :)  (for all you Utahins who don't know what autumn looks like!.. haha.. sorry no offense there, I just like teasing you! lol!  But you guys do beat us in snow....so now we're square.  lol!)  The Fall just makes me feel so... I don't know, like fresh, and new.  I know that that is what spring is supposed to feel like, but spring here is so sticky!  Haha.... But Fall the air is crisp, the cold air in your lungs as your running....It just burns!  Burns happiness, and freshness all the way.  I love it!  And so many different trees!  Yous tart seeing the reds in the maples, and the browns of the oaks, the yellow of black walnuts....

The only thing about winter coming is that it is too cold to go barefoot.  *hurmpf*  and the grass is all dewy in the night..... but it smells so good!  mmmmmmmhhhh!

Last night though was kinda weird.. well let me start from the beginning..... Va is kinda funny like this, one day you will be wearing a scarf, mittens, sweaters, and your breath shows at 50 degrees, and then the next day you will un-wrap yourself from all that fluff, and wear shorts, and a t-shirt at 75 degrees..... I don't get it.... But any ways, that was yesterday, it was nice and warm.  And then we hear it was going to rain, the rain always makes it cool down this time of year. (sure enough, cause I'm back in the sweaters!)  But I went outside to let Huck out just as the cold front was coming in.... it was about 3:00am, and dark....   the trees were throwing leaves, and making alot of noise, andI could see mist in the field... there were no saccades screeching, no crickets neeker-breeking....it was quiet other then the wind and the leaves....  And of course Huck is unaware to the whole situation, and how I'm out there shivering in the cold front, with my pj's on.....  and he takes his time sniffign around, and trying to get me as close to the wild wood as possible.......the grass was dry too, which was so weird.  Normally when a storm is coming it gets really wet feeling, but this time the ground was warm and dry, where as the air around me was  freezing!  First I thought it was pretty cool.  Then I started thinking of like Hates, and the burning underworld, and how that would make a cool story, like the underworld breaks upon on a strormy night and steals so innocent away! haha!... needless to say I dragged my dog back inside... lol!

But yeah sorry long story...But now you have a feeling for Va weather at this time of year haha!.. not that most of you care.. but yeah.

But aside from my old man talk about weather.......

Yesterday was dad's 46th BIRTHDAY!  Yay!  he is the most wonderous person I know!  Seriously, I would like to devote a paragraph to him this blog, cause I love him so much!  First off, here are some of my favorites things about him:

He is SOOO Patient!

He shares his love in a quiet, yet you-can't-miss-it way...that just makes you love him more!

He always takes time for me and my siblings, to answer questions, to talk to work ect.

He, teaches quietly, he doesn't MAKE you see, he trys to show you

he is so polite to me and treats me with respect

He will sacrifice every thing just to make you happy.. like even his sleep.  He'll stay up late with you if you are not so happy, or want to talk, even when he wakes up at five in the morning every day, and drives two hours in traffic, goes to work, drives back home two hours in traffic, and is still so HAPPY!

Dad, you are so cool.  I love you so much! 

I remember going into the garage in Fredericksburg and helping him stain the book shelfs.... :)  as he let his 11 year old daughter ramble on and on.  I see him bringing mom flowers.... all the time.  I see him bring me and my sisters flowers.  It really means alot to get flowers from some one.  I watch him lead our family in righteousness, with my mother at his side, both still so inlove, holding hands, working through life together, and raising us in wisdom,a nd to be good followers of Christ.  

He has nick-names for all of us!  One of mine is Sac du sucre... (sac of sugar)  Clair's is Baby beluga, Jocelyn's is Fifi, Sheridan's is...... she wont allow me to tell you, she says she wont have it posted for the whole world to see.. haha! (and just fyi, these names are kinda special, and family use only...so treat them with care please) Zach has too many... haha, and so does Luc.... But there are tons!  we all have alot, and some die slowly, and others come, and others continue.. Another one is I am "snow White"  and Clarissa is "rose red"  after the story of the two sisters snow white and rose red!  ;lol!  So dad, some times gives me white roses on my b-day and clarissa red ones on hers.. :)

He also used to sing to us..... my favorite was the piggy song... kinda morbid, but awesome!

Any ways.. I love my dad!  You have probably gotten sick of my telling about him, but I love him so much, and feel so blessed to have him as a father.

and yes... I am aware the picture of me is side ways.... lol, i'm just to lazy to change it.... haha!  It's my new hair cut thoguh!  :)

slacker!

Wow.... Talk about SLACKER!  I'm so bad.. I'm sorry, not that any one ever visits my blog in the first place... But for those of you who do, I'm sorry, I have been shameful at keeping this up and going!

Right now my Grandma Larson is here, she will be here for another few days, till Tuesday I believe!  Which is so awesome!  I never see any of my extended family, so we love to have her here!  She is an awesome Grandmother, and just loves all of us Unconditionally!  We are having a good time with her!  I'm so glad she is here!

I'm going to seminary this year.....  I wake up at five a.m. so that gives me half an hour to get ready, and a half an hour to get there... It  takes that long to get to church... (yes I know all you Utahins are sitting there saying.. "we told you just come to Utah, it is loads better!" haha!) We go to a new ward.. and stake now.... I miss all my friends at church, and I miss my old ward, because I was so close to every one there, all the youth, and the adults were really pretty close, the youth in my ward just were really open to new things and new people, accepted differences and got along really well, and it is so cool!  But here it is a little different in this new ward, the youth are very cliquish, all nice people, and I know some of them, and I have some REALLY good friends there, but it is so different! lol!  Like all the girls like to talk about is who made out with who, and why they wont talk to so-and-so.... haha!  I just have to accept the differences here, but the contrast is so funny! haha! BUt I can learn to love them just as much, I already feel a love for them, even though sometimes they may not know how to be the most friendly, they still are awesome people I can see, and all are trying their hardest to do the best ,and be the best they can, who can ask more?  I consider it a blessing, it is helping me grow, and learn to be more independently confident. lol!  But it is a good thing for me and my family, so I am very grateful fro this opportunity.

I've been running alot, and doing palates ( I think you spell it like that! haha!)  which is really fun!  I have been trying to get my flexibility back.... I'll add some pix of that l8r.. But I just really feel better about myself, life, and every thing in general when i do this.  it is very refreshing, and in-between school, work, and this I feel like I have done something through out the day that is worth while. :)  but I tell you it sure takes tole on you! haha.  since I'm just getting back into it from three months of not hardly doing anything very much.... my old bones are rattling!  haha.

I have started art again.. I love it, I just finished a pastel portrait I despise...but I'll add a picture any ways...... when I get it on the computer...... and I'm trying to decide what to do next.. btu my art teacher is so awesoem I love her SOOO much!  I thin kI'll add a post all abotu art class soemtime, and put all/most of my art up (all of it would take too much time to uplaod! haha!)  

I lvoe the weather out her, fall is JUST BARELY starting!  I LOVE IT!  ;)

I miss my floweres at work thoguh cause they are all dying, I'm going to try to get another job this winter though..... we'll see how that goes..

I'm also going to go to Either Russia or Ukraine this winter semester, I've been saving all summer for this, and I'll go there to teach English.. it is with this ILP program (International LAnguage Program)  I have to get off now, cause I don't have much time on the internet any more, since I made the goal of only 1 & 1/2 hours per week now! lol!  but you can look it up on their website :  www.ILP.org  it is so cool!  I'll tell you abotu it l8r!
